She wanted to ride the saddle...
So she did, and I documented it. J & I went an undefeated 1-0 in beer pong and had mediocre showings in flip cup. It was a fun night that of course had us ending it at a club called Solas.

Bastille (Bassteel) Day 2010
Jordyn & I attended the 60th street Bastille Day Fair. It was like any fair only with more crepes. We ended up having to amuse ourselves with delicious food & silly banter.

The old man and the sea
I want to dress like this when I'm his age. More importantly ... I want to feel like this when I'm his age. Like I still give a shit kinda feeling.

Where's your flannel?
I've been wearing vintage flannel all winter and loving it! I get a lot of compliments and the colors are so fun it's hard not to get someone's attention wearing them. I picked them up at Uniqlo, a store that is making waves in the U.S. Imagine a store like Banana Republic. Now imagine it with a more vibrant color palette like it had been painted in watercolors. Last but not least, cut the price in half but still retain its quality fabrics and you have Uniqlo. A store that started in Japan, created a sensation in London and is now rocking the USA. Back to these wonderful flannels. They are light weight but keep you warm, perfect by themselves or with a sweater overlay. Sometimes, to add some spice I compliment them with an effective tie. Have a look and if you haven't picked any up this winter well... winter isn't over yet.

She
She makes me laugh.
She makes me smile.
She eases my pain.
She kisses my mistakes.
She breathes me in.
She sees my potential.
She pushes me forward.
She loves me back.

Taco Bell is a liar!!!
Does anyone else see something very wrong with this latest Taco Bell commercial? First off, when was the last time you saw two attractive white girls working at Taco Bell, yeah, thought so. Next off, did you see the windows? Exactly, sunlight, no one goes to Taco Bell during the daytime. Also, there is a really annoying guy in the commercial but that's not the crazy part. The crazy part is that the guy in the commercial is neither drunk nor homeless, yeah, I thought this was an Applebee's commercial until the end. Taco Bell, I thought you were turning a new leaf in the honesty department with your 4th meal concept but this is truly an outrage. The gentlemen in the above pic are merely there to prove a point, gotta love google image search. Below is the commercial, yo quiero denise!

Mr. Magnifico -Eliza Carthy
Mr. Magnifico,
can see,
and he knows,
and he follows his nose,
how it's going to go.
A little spite wine,
dim the lights,
pass the time,
those french girls like fromage
oh they'll like a lil ménage
Take it Easy (love nothing) by Bright Eyes
You took off your clothes, left on the light. You stood there so brave, used to be shy, each feature improved, each movement refined, and eyes like a showroom.

NYC is huge! Sometimes, you get lost in it and lost with all the other people in it. Sometimes you get this feeling that there are so many people to meet that it would be impossible to meet them all. With all those people here, around me, and the opportunity to date so many different women. It's really comforting to be focused on only one, even if i do miss her.

Harvey
Perhaps one of my many favorite movies:
"Years ago, my mother used to say to me, she'd say: 'In this world, Elwood,' she always used to call me Elwood. 'In this world, Elwood, you must be oh, so smart or oh, so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. And you can quote me." - Elwood P. Dowd
